Photography and Videography
Here are some examples of my photography and videography. As a multimedia journalist, I have learned how to take visual elements and create graphics in order to help tell a story. In these few photos, I have captured the energy and beauty of music both as an art form and a form of connection. You can see Troy's Jazz Ensemble band members playing their hearts out while audience members dance the night away. These photos serve to immortalize a brief moment in time where, through countless notes and steps, a very real bond was formed between people. Below the photos, you can find two video interviews I conducted, recorded, and edited. Interviewing, communication, news gathering, and editing are all skills I have learned in my attendance at Troy University. These subjects I know through our broadcast program, TrojanVision News, who is led by Paige Ray and student Mackenzie Foster. As a camera operator with TrojanVision, I owe my knowledge of camera operation to these two along with Jordan Chambers.
